Kentucky Ecuador Partners
The mission of Kentucky-Ecuador Partners is to foster people to people exchanges of ideas and knowledge, develop opportunities, promote capabilities, and share cultural experiences.
Kentucky Partners of the Americas (a chapter of POA inc.) has enjoyed a partnership with Ecuador since 1965. The Kentucky chapter is supported by volunteers from most regions of the Commonwealth.
Kentucky Partners is guided by a Board of Directors. The board is comprised of elected officers, program area chairpersons and elected at-large members. Day-to-day activities of the partnership are managed by a president, who is elected by the membership for a two-year term, and an executive director. Program area committees, along with the counterparts in Ecuador, plan and carry out projects of the Kentucky-Ecuador Partners.
Kentucky Partners seeks opportunities for collaboration and cooperation with other civic and volunteer organizations as well as government agencies and businesses interested in Partners specialities and in community development. Membership is open to all who are interested in community development and international linkages to improve the quality of like and to enhance the future for all citizens of the Americas.
Kentucky Partners is incorporated in Kentucky and is recognized as a 501(c)3 private, not-for-profit organization. Donations to Kentucky Partners are tax deductible.
